Our programs are designed to reduce risk, strengthen community partnerships, and provide peace of mind through education, technology, and prevention.

Learn About Project Lifesaver

Project Lifesaver is Ohio County Safety Lifeline's flagship program, providing rapid locating technology for individuals at risk of wandering due to autism, Alzheimer's disease, dementia, Down syndrome, and other cognitive conditions. The program equips trained public safety responders with specialized equipment that helps reduce search times and improve recovery outcomes.

Community Education & Training

Ohio County Safety Lifeline is committed to increasing awareness and equipping our community through educational programs and training opportunities. We collaborate with trusted partners to provide learning opportunities for first responders, caregivers, educators, and community members.

Autism & First Responders Training

Presented in partnership with the Kentucky Autism Training Center

In May 2026, Ohio County Safety Lifeline partnered with the Kentucky Autism Training Center to host a free training for first responders, providing practical strategies for safely interacting with and supporting individuals with autism during emergency situations.
